Pool School

Hi all,

I've noticed 3 or 4 new members who joined in the last month that mentioned they'd like some help with their game. After 6 months of retooling my game (when I started this meetup I wasn't shooting exceptionally well) I'm feeling confident enough in my game to teach others again. Sooooo.......

POOL SCHOOL!

I'm going to teach fundamentals such as:

Viewing your shot
Approaching the table (Mental Focus)
Stance
Holding your cue
Stroke
Striking the cue ball (center)

I will NOT teach positioning, ball control, or english, though you're welcome to discuss those things with me anytime during a game. If enough people participate in the fundamentals, I'll move on to more advanced stuff.

*** NOTE: There are 3 Garages near Bungalows. When facing Bungalow, there is one immediately visible to the left. The 2nd garage is 1 block to the right around the corner of Harris Teeter. The 3rd garage which is almost always available, is up 31st Street (The street between Bungalow and the Movie Theater). Proceed up the hill past the restaurants on the left is the garage. This one is open all weekend and from 6pm Friday night. ***

1: Take the GLEBE RD / VA-120 exit- EXIT 7- toward SHIRLINGTON. 0.2 miles Map

3: Straight at Traffic light onto S ARLINGTON MILL DR. 0.2 miles Map
4: End at 2766 S Arlington Mill Dr
